1. Introduction

Welcome to Texalog Marine Transport. By accessing and using our website or services, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before engaging with our services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our website and services.


2. Services Provided

Texalog Marine Transport specializes in the transport and export of boats, ranging from small vessels to large yachts, across Southern Africa. Our services include boat collection, inspection, testing, verification, and optional GIT insurance coverage.


3. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed upon receipt of payment.
  • A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance payable before the start of transport.
  • We accept payments via bank transfer. Details will be provided upon booking confirmation.
  • Failure to make timely payments may result in a delay or cancellation of your service.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more before the scheduled service date are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 3-7 days of the service date will incur a 20% cancellation fee.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 3 days before the scheduled service date.
  • In the event of unavoidable delays due to weather or road conditions, we will reschedule the service at no extra cost.

5. Liability and Insurance

  • Texalog Marine Transport will handle your boat with the utmost care and take all necessary precautions to ensure its safe transport.
  • We offer GIT insurance coverage for additional protection. If the client opts not to use our insurance, they assume full responsibility for any damage or loss during transport.
  • We are not liable for any damages, delays, or losses caused by circumstances beyond our control, including weather conditions, road closures, or third-party actions.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • The client is responsible for ensuring the boat is ready for transport at the agreed time and location.
  • The client must provide accurate information regarding the boat’s size, condition, and any special handling requirements.
  • The client is responsible for securing all personal belongings and equipment on the boat before transport.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the intellectual property of Texalog Marine Transport and is protected by copyright laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our express permission.


8. Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data.


9. Changes to Services and Terms

Texalog Marine Transport reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any of our services at any time without prior notice. We may also update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Continued use of our services following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.


10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
